独松阁，又名西北局会议中心，始建于1959年，为中式园林风格建筑，20世纪60年代，该处曾作为中共西北局夏季办公场所使用。独松阁得名源于院内孤耸一棵合抱粗的古劲苍松而来，此处依山面壑，风景秀丽，可朝观日出，暮看夕照，鸟瞰秦川，遥望长安，远离都市喧嚣，体验悠然生活，为南五台览胜之佳地。

The One-Pine Pavilion, also known as the Conference Center of Northwest Bureau, was built in 1959. It is a Chinese garden-style building. In the 1960s, it was used as the office of the Northwest Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party in summer. The One-Pine Pavilion got its name from the ancient huge green pine which is standing alone in the yard. The One-Pine Pavilion is located here, leaning the mountains and facing the gully. The scenery is beautiful. Visiting the One-Pine Pavilion, you will enjoy sunrise in morning, watch sunset at dusk; you can overlook Qinchuan flatland, look over Chang’an from such a distance. You are far away from the noisy city, experiencing the leisure life. The One-Pine Pavilion is the best place for enjoying the beautiful scenery in South Wutai.
